New Release: Working the Table

IndieGuideCoverIn Working the Table, two veteran conwarriors dish their advice and secrets for making book events successful. Lee and Jeff have spent the past few years working vendor tables at conventions, fairs, and festivals, and they’ve learned a thing or three along the way. This book lays out their advice on a variety of subjects relating to these experiences, intended to help you put your best foot forward without stepping into a hole.

Although the book is aimed at authors in the science fiction and fantasy genres, anyone interested in selling books at in-person events can benefit from the strategies and suggestions found within. Even those who’ve worked a few events will find helpful hints for scenarios they haven’t encountered yet, but inevitably will in the future.

This book will make its first event appearance at the Festival of Literature for Young Adults in Vancouver, WA on March 19-20, then its second at Norwescon in Seatac, March 24-27.
